The achievements of the Information Technology Center in the context of promoting digital transformation and automating processes and procedures

​The strategic plan of the University of Jordan (2022/2027) focused among its main objectives on promoting digital transformation and automating processes and procedures. Accordingly, and within this framework, the Information Technology Center is constantly striving to digitize academic and administrative processes, including infrastructure and software, focusing on the use of smart technology more than ever before. Which increased the size of the responsibility entrusted to him, being the first specialized body in this field. This prompted him to redouble his efforts, which resulted in many achievements, including:

1- Programming the system for developing the academic and research capabilities and skills of the faculty members in cooperation with the Deanship of Scientific Research

The system provides courses that aim to increase the academic and research capabilities and skills of faculty members at the University of Jordan within the annual plan of the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Center. At the same time, issuing a set of reports for performance measurement purposes and preparing periodic reports for the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Center.
2- Developing a system of policies, procedures and forms, and developing a system for computerizing forms related to the application of integrity standards in cooperation with the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Center
The first system allows the possibility of archiving policies, procedures and special forms at the University of Jordan (the fifth criterion of the Distinguished University Award). The second system also supports the collection of information about levels of satisfaction with the application of integrity standards for employees and students.

In the context of promoting digital transformation and automating processes and procedures that the strategic plan of the University of Jordan (2022/2027) focused on, we would like to inform you of some subsequent achievements, including:
1- Developing a system for the purposes of obtaining "Evalag" accreditation, in cooperation with the Faculty of Foreign Languages
Where the subject file system was computerized and programmed, and the quality of private education at the Faculty of Foreign Languages was evaluated. Where the Information Technology Center launched the system in cooperation with the College of Languages, and during the visit of the International Accreditation Committee "Evalag" a presentation was made about the system and data related to the College of Languages.
2- Developing and establishing a graphics platform in cooperation with the Faculty of Educational Sciences
The platform displays student data in the College of Educational Sciences: type of admission, student nationalities, type of study, number of students in each program, and number of students in each grade in the form of graphs.
3- Establishing and activating the course file system for all university faculties, according to the approved components of the course file, in cooperation with the Admission and Registration Unit
This system enables the subject teacher to fill out the course file with all its components, and then the department head approves it, in addition to granting the department head concerned with filling in the program objectives and creating a matrix linking the materials with the program objectives.
4- Building and launching a website for the lost identities inquiry system.
​The student will be able to know if his lost identity is with these sites, where he can review the concerned persons in these sites and receive his lost identity.​
