The University of Jordan launches a mobile phone registration system application

The Information Technology Center, in collaboration with the Admissions and Registration Unit, officially launched the "Mobile Registration System – Android" application. This initiative is part of the university's ongoing efforts to digitize its services and aligns with its approved digital transformation plan. University students can download the application to their Android devices via the Google Play Store using the following link: (Click here). An iOS version will be released as soon as its technical aspects are finalized in the near future. This achievement is part of the university's commitment to providing integrated digital services that meet the demands of the modern era. It enables students to complete their university transactions easily and quickly, thereby improving the quality of services offered and enhancing the user experience.

The application features a range of smart services, most notably enabling students to receive instant notifications related to their various university transactions. These include tracking registration processes such as schedules, courses, and sections, as well as notifications regarding the release of final grades and cumulative GPAs at the end of each semester, reminders about lecture times, university announcements, and academic warnings and alerts. The application also provides instant notifications regarding the approval or rejection of requests to increase course load, notifications related to excused absences from supplementary or make-up exams, and notifications related to academic suspensions. This facilitates seamless communication between students and the university, saving time and effort. Students can easily enable or disable notifications according to their preferences. Access to the application is granted using the login credentials used in the self-registration system (username and password). It is worth noting that the Information Technology Center has begun developing a dedicated application for university staff as part of a comprehensive development plan aimed at reshaping the university environment with modern digital methods that reflect contemporary trends.
